OUR BREAKFAST

After a sound sleep, we invite you to indulge in our signature Tunisian brunch, a perfect way to launch into a day of discovery, relaxation or meetings!
Every morning, Dar Souad serves a gourmet breakfast starting with your choice of coffee or tea and seasonal juice.
The sweet part of the breakfast consists of homemade yoghourt and its granola, honey, spread of homemade jams, butter and a typical Mediterranean spread called “Bsisa”.

For the salty part, we offer a traditional dish called “Chakchouka” which is confit vegetables served with small homemade meatballs, and a choice between an omelette, scrambled, boiled or fried eggs.
We also offer both freshly baked traditional bread that we call “Mlawi” and regular bread from the bakery. To end your breakfast on a healthy note, a bowl of seasonal fruits.

Dar Souad is a guest house for travellers to rest and relax. Situated in the heart of the historic area of La Marsa. Our Ryad dates to the 19th century and was recently renovated.

We have maintained the home’s grand architecture while outfitting it with all the comforts of modern living. It is a space, which we have designed around the pillars of hospitality, sharing, kindness and respect.

Dar Souad is more than a hotel; it’s a place to put your feet up; to focus and seek repose; to enjoy good company and share experiences with both the hosts and other guests around a home-cooked meal.

☺ I arrived after a long delay with my flight being very tired, and the place was just perfect. The staff was super friendly and caring, I got a delicious dinner even though I had forgotten to book it. Dar Souad is absolutely cosy, clean and I felt home immediately. I spent a day working from the yard and everything worked out very well (internet, meals, etc.). When I left, the staff contacted me to make sure I arrived safely to my destination as I had a problem with the PCR test certificate.

☺ Very clean, very friendly and helpful staff.
Beautiful settings, the beds were one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in any hotel including top 5 star hotels. Very reasonable price. Breakfast was superb. Highly recommended.

☹ Property is a little difficult to get to if driving. Hard to park. But won’t be a problem by taxi.

☺ A wonderful harbor of peace in La Marsa ! Everything was great : the smile of Feriel, the shadow of the plants, the freshness of the pool, the taste of the home-made dishes and bread (..Please! :)  ) , the bed, the room .. EVERYTHING !
